Last week a certain tote bag had the Internet debating—and set us searching for our most-admired, lowest-cost canvas totes.
To our minds, the ideal tote meets a few key requirements: 1) It’s minimal and hardworking enough for everyday use; 2) made from sturdy materials (no synthetics); and 3) perhaps most crucially, it has a flat, never flimsy bottom. That way, it can lug farmers’ market finds, serve as an overnight bag, or stash shoes in the entryway with equal ease.
