I use a dado set on my SawStop table saw quite a bit. When setting up wider cuts, I encounter a problem, running out of room on the arbor to fully seat the nut. In the past I’ve resorted to leaving off the arbor washer, but I’ve never felt good about that. Woodpeckers must have sensed my frustration and so has created a narrow-profile arbor nut with a washer built in. The Dado Nut can seat fully on the arbor threads, and it offers the support of a washer to keep the blades flat and cutting smoothly. The narrow nut is a little harder to get a grip on during installation, but that’s a minor trade-off for the improved performance.

Sawstop Miter Gauge
It has a toothed angle-setting rack that is extremely solid, accurate, and easy to use, and it offers all of the features I love in a miter gauge, including the ability to add an auxiliary wood fence, and a flip-stop that will accommodate it.
Veritas Micro-Adjust Wheel Marking Gauge
The adjuster runs through the beam from a small knob at the back end right to the cutting wheel, which moves in and out as you turn the knob. This arrangement works well but makes adjustments a two-handed operation, requiring a little more effort.
Bessey EKH Trigger Clamps
Bessey EKH series quick-release trigger-style clamps are simple to use and maintain consistent pressure. Trigger clamps that perform the way you’ve always wished they would!
