To make these easy air fryer green beans you only need a few simple ingredients.
- 258 grams of frozen green beans
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
For the green beans, you can use any frozen green beans. We are using haricot string beans, but you can also use French green beans. If you don’t love garlic then you can opt for your favorite seasoning ideas like onion powder, red pepper flakes, or simple salt and black pepper.

How to Air Fry Frozen Green Beans in the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer
First, preheat the air fryer at 390 degrees F for 3-5 minutes before cooking.
Next, place the frozen green beans in a large bowl. Add the olive oil, salt, and garlic powder. Toss to coat.
Then transfer the seasoned green beans to the air fryer basket. For best results, spread the green beans out in a single layer. Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket.
How Long to Cook Frozen Green Beans in an Air Fryer
First, select the ‘air crisp’ function. Set the air fryer temperature to 390 degrees F. Then set the cook time to 4 minutes. Press start.
At the halfway point, at about two minutes, open the air fryer and toss the green beans to make sure that all sides of the green beans are exposed to the hot air during the cooking process.
Then allow the green beans to continue air frying.

- In a large bow, toss frozen green beans with olive oil, garlic powder and sea salt.
- Transfer seasoned green beans to the air fryer basket.
- Select air crisp function. Set temp for 390 degrees. Set cook time for 4 minutes.
- At the halfway point of 2 minutes toss the green beans in the air fryer basket
- After 4 minutes the green beans are tender and crisp.
- Serve and enjoy
