Participants of the 2023 Young Professionals University took part in a scavenger hunt on the streets of Nashville.
Young Professionals University (YPU), the annual two-day gathering of BrandSource’s 20- to 40-somethings for learning, networking and fun, is set for Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 24-25.
Attendees are in for a powerhouse event that combines in-depth education and industry insights with networking opportunities and social time designed to help build connections among next-gen BrandSource members and manufacturers.
The event will kick off Saturday with a group outing to Paradise Springs Water Park on the grounds of the Gaylord Texan in Dallas, followed by a dinner reception.
Sunday will be a full day of all the best stuff for the independent retail industry’s up-and-comers:

Speaker and author Paul Long will share tactical tips on how to create more significant interactions in a fun and interactive keynote, “Reframing Resilience: The Power of Meaningful Connection.”

AVB Marketing experts will lead sessions on topics such as the future of AI, the importance of having a connected point-of-sale system and more.

Chad Evans, BrandSource’s VP of merchandising, will provide an in-depth industry update.

Motivational speaker David Romano will lead a session called “It’s Not Only About You,” to help attendees discover new ways of understanding and motivating others.
YPU culminates with a Young Professional meet-up at 6 p.m., which leads directly into the Welcome Reception for BrandSource’s Convention 2024.
