Hooker Furnishings announced that it has expanded its marketing leadership team to enhance its global brand marketing and communication strategies.

Cameron Cook-Sellers has joined the company as vice president – brand marketing & communications. In this new role, she will oversee brand marketing, growth marketing and insights, partnerships and licensing, and global communications.  In her new role, she will report to Johne Albanese, Chief Marketing Officer.

“Cameron is a seasoned global marketer with more than 18 years of experience creating strategic multi-channel brand-building campaigns to grow awareness while driving revenue,” said Albanese. “We look forward to having her join the team and bringing with her fresh energy and marketing innovation. We are confident she will play a significant role in helping guide our brands into an exciting new chapter for our customers and consumers.”

Cook-Sellers joins the company most recently from Lowe’s Home Improvement, where she spent six years in the marketing department. At Lowe’s, she held several positions including brand management of partnerships and sponsorships, kitchen and bath brand marketing manager, consumer engagements, as well as media marketing manager.

She has previous marketing experience in the home furnishings industry with leading brands including Palliser Furniture and Natuzzi where she held director-level marketing roles. Cameron joins the Hooker Furnishings marketing leadership team alongside Kenzi Reddick, vice president – marketing creative, interior design, and events. Reddick, who joined the company in March of 2023, will continue with her responsibilities of establishing the creative vision for the company across a broad spectrum of creative initiatives as well as playing a pivotal role in growing the company’s interior design channel. She will also take on additional responsibilities in leading the company’s event and hospitality initiatives.

“I am thrilled to be joining the incredible Hooker Furnishings team to continue building on the momentum of the brand,” said Cook-Sellers “I am a strong believer in the impact a brand, its products, and the communities we serve have on millions of customers, designers, and consumers. I am beyond excited to get started, and I see great potential ahead for the company.”

“Having Cameron and Kenzi working together with me as marketing leaders, supported by the remarkably talented group of marketing professionals that make up our marketing team, will provide us with the talent, bandwidth and organizational structure we need to truly help drive the growth of our company, now and for years to come,” said Albanese.
